Using Zeland Software for Antenna Design, we got the design for a satisfactory antenna with low return loss and the results were enhanced by cutting T-shaped slots.

Hardware simulations were made and results were obtained using a Network Analyzer.

The conclusions are :

1. Minimum return loss of -30.44 dB at 2.225 GHz. The actual results show some variation due to various losses in the network.

2. -10 dB Bandwidth of 0.19GHz from 2.12GHz to 2.31GHz.


3. BW / fc = 0.0853 or 8.53% < 10% therefore narrowband.

Though the efficiency is not 100% but it can have many practical applications in mobile communication and aerodynamics.
